I just really needed to ink something because it’s been awhile, and inking feels so niiiice.
Remember when I did that color study? Here’s a panel from the scene it was for. I gotta say, this scene has some of my favorite Bright Side backgrounds in it, though this particular panel might not be the best example….but you’ll get to see once I start posting again, hopefully sometime this month. Which is probably what I said like 5 months ago, but this time I’ve got some finished art to back up the statement.

Finally finally finally this cover. Now I just need a synopsis to put in the space I left for a synopsis except I’m really terrible at writing synopses. If anyone else wants to volunteer to write something for me that would be rad too…
Fun fact, this was actually painted in grey and turned purple with the magic of photoshop. The reason being that purple is a more expensive color and this would have used a lot of it. Also because I hadn’t decided between purple or teal. I might do a variant witha teal cover also…
Also I forgot how much I hate dealing with large files. Especially large pdfs, ugh @_@

Taking a break from painting comics because yellow/orange is such a pain in the butt color to work with. Black and white is nice and relaxing.
