Here’s my drawing for April 1st, the Bright Side as a punk band…or at least my attempt at one. I wasn’t quite sure how to make Suzie look punk, so I just stuck her in the jacket that Nana O wears. Ha.
And to be extra out of character, I used ink instead of gouache :)
I drew this as a present for my aunt. I hope it’s not conceited to give a picture of my own character to someone as a gift.
Sunflowers are a symbol of happiness and longevity.

Good morning. For some reason I’m into this theme of rectangular framing devices. I dunno, it just keeps happening. And Ellie is still my favorite to draw. What can I say.
Hey, I finally drew something other than Korra fanart. I wanted to practice lighting and draw some of the characters from my next big project. I’ll probably do a lot of photo referenced drawings like this while I’m working on ironing out the details of the storyline and taking baby steps towards being an actual responsible adult.
The current working title is Masked Shadow, which I guess is a step up from “that one story about the dudes who are kind of assholes sometimes”, or whatever the previous working title was.

Oh yeah, so I’m done with this comic now, aside from lettering, which will hopefully be done tonight. Just thought I’d share some bits since I’ve got it scanned now. I don’t know if I’ll upload the whole thing once it’s all done and together, or just select pages or panels or what. But here’s a panel from my first page.

And since I was on a fanart kick, I decided to show Sokka some love too. Because he’s my favorite, and because I have a soft spot for pictures of Sokka in front of the moon.
